No. Microf has no signup fees, ongoing contractor fees, or minimum volume requirements.
What documents are needed for contractor onboarding?
Microf requests a signed Contractor Agreement, a W-9, ACH information, and applicable business or contractor licenses. Additional documentation may be requested during review. The onboarding team will explain what your business needs to provide.
How quickly can my business get started?
Microf offers a fast approval process. Getting started includes completing the required review, agreement, and training. Your onboarding team will guide you through the next steps.
What equipment is eligible for lease-to-own?
Microf offers lease-to-own options for eligible residential HVAC and water heater replacements. Equipment categories include air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and tank, tankless, and heat pump hybrid water heaters.
Equipment and brand restrictions apply. Confirm eligibility in the Contractor Portal or with your Account Manager before proceeding.
How does Microf help me serve homeowners with challenged credit?
Microf’s Lease-To-Own program gives qualified homeowners with challenged credit an additional payment option for HVAC and water heater replacement. It helps your business serve customers who might otherwise delay a needed replacement. Approval is subject to verification and program requirements.
Can customers complete their own applications?
Yes. Customers can complete the application on the Contractor’s device, or Contractors can send a personalized application link so customers can apply on their own devices. Customers should enter sensitive information directly into the secure application. Contractors should not collect or retain customer bank account information.
When can I install the equipment?
Wait until Microf authorizes installation. An application decision alone does not authorize installation. The homeowner must complete the required agreement and initial payment, and any outstanding requirements must be satisfied.
How do I request payment after installation?
Select Complete/Fund in the Contractor Portal. Enter the required equipment details, initials, and installation date, then certify and submit the completed installation. Expected funding is within 3 business days after submission.
What training and support are available?
Contractors complete program training during onboarding and receive dedicated Account Manager support. Contact your Account Manager for help with the portal, program questions, or guidance on using approved Microf marketing materials.
Where is Microf available?
Microf is available in all states except Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Program and agreement terms vary by state.
